SDG′s on GAUDI

Project type

Exhibition - Curation and Space design

Execution

March 2022

Location

Embassy of Spain in Japan, Roppongi, Tokyo

From the era of mass consumption and mass production in the 20th century, we have now entered an era focused on the environment, with goals such as decarbonization and carbon neutrality. We are facing a turning point in manufacturing. With the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) set as the target for 2030, new efforts and wisdom are emerging every day around the world. This exhibition looks to the insights of architect Antoni Gaudí, who lived 150 years ago, and introduces designs that harness natural energies such as water and air, as well as designs inspired by the forms and materials of the earth and nature. Gaudí gave life to his designs by coloring elements like dragons, ventilation towers, and bell towers in vibrant hues. By understanding Gaudí's vision, which sought to make people's lives more joyful and bright, we will discover valuable insights that can inspire modern design thinking.
